# Simuwu vacuum furnace — checklist

## Dismantle / prep

- Drain water from chiller and hoses
- Disconnect wiring at appliance and bundle with cabinet, leaving connected to cabinet. Note where each cable went.
- Disconnect vacuum pumps and other flanges from vessel
- Remove pink thermocouple
- Create temporary 4× legs for vessel frame
- Temporary legs: box section on **outside** of legs sized for forklift fork width
- Box section: angle bracing above for support
- **Clearance:** 30 mm from bottom of vessel to bottom of temporary legs (room to fit in high-cube container)
